Nestled in the scenic hills of Jacksonville, Oregon, the Britt Festival Pavilion & Gardens transforms into one of America's most enchanting outdoor concert venues each summer. Surrounded by towering ponderosa pines and warm Pacific Northwest skies, the Britt Festival Orchestra brings world-class classical music to an open-air setting unlike any other — where the rustle of the breeze and the shimmer of stars above become part of the performance itself.
This summer, the Britt Festival Orchestra presents three extraordinary Friday evening concerts in June and July 2026. On June 19, experience the soaring emotional power of Dvořák's New World Symphony, featuring guest direction from the prestigious Gustavo Gimeno of the New York Philharmonic. On June 26, Holst's The Planets conjures the grandeur of the cosmos through stunning orchestral color and drama. And on July 3, close out the series with Mozart's radiant Jupiter Symphony — a perfect blend of wit, elegance, and triumphant joy just before Independence Day.
Whether you arrive early to picnic on the hillside lawn, sip local Oregon wine as twilight settles over the garden, or simply lose yourself in the sweep of a full symphony orchestra under the open sky, an evening at Britt is an unforgettable sensory experience. These concerts are a beloved Southern Oregon tradition and a must for classical music lovers and newcomers alike.
